Téjas is an Indian restaurant conceptualised, developed and built by two friends –Sewinderpal Singh Dhaliwal & Srinivasan Thotta. Both of them have hospitality qualifications and having worked in the intense kitchen environments for part of their careers, they had a similar passion for good food and wine.
The idea of Téjas was visualised and developed to be able to serve fine dining Indian cuisine to clientele in the Melbourne CBD.
The décor and ambiance of the restaurant speaks about the idea and have been developed to create an environment for quick dining for the busy trading times in the afternoon and also serve ala carte dining with an extensive drinks list with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
It’s always been as much about the people as the Food. We want people to experience our scrumptious dishes and see that look where one bite makes you realize you’ve just discovered something amazing.
